Jr. Appian Developer

Nakupuna Solutions is looking for a JR. Appian Developer. The Jr. Appian Developer will provide enhancements and sustainment support for Appian at OGC.   Perform Appian development and configurations, development, related web applications and web services/API’s, as well as integration with other OGC applications.

• Serve as a developer for an Appian system with support of lead Appian developer 

• Participate in the creation of data stores  

• Provide technical insight and documentation related to future development tasks, including analysis, resource allocation estimation and timeline projections.  

• Demonstrate experience with software development lifecycle phases (i.e., requirements analysis, design, implementation, and unit testing).  

• Work closely with clients to translate user feedback into actionable requirements  

• Participate on projects focused on smoothing the transition of projects from development staff to production staff by performing operations activities within the project lifecycle  

• Ensure a high standard of quality throughout software development lifecycle.   

• Provide development support for Appian enhancements  

• Support the Tier 1/Tier 2 OGC IT team in resolving Production issues  

Education and Experience:   

• Education:  

• Required:  BA/BS, preferably in computer science, science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM), or 5+ years documented experience in addition to the requirements within this description.  

• Experience:  

• Required:  

• 1+ years of Appian Development experience  

• 2+ years of .NET to include Jscript, C#, VB.NET, or ASP.NET.   

• Certifications:    

• Required:  

• Cyber Security Workforce (CSWF) Information Assurance Technology (IAT) Level II (Security+ CE)  

• Nice to have:  

• Appian Associate Developer certification 

Clearance: Tier 3 background investigation either favorably completed or underway with a minimum secret security clearance or an interim secret security clearance.  

Physical Requirements: The ideal candidate must at a minimum be able to meet the following physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation:
